The Instant Pot is perfect as a double boiler for melting chocolate and keeping it at the perfect consistency for dipping. These delicious chocolate dipped strawberries are so easy to make. I used Ghirardelli Chocolate Melting Wafers because there’s no need to temper it – just melt & dip!

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Fresh Strawberries
  • 10 oz Melting Chocolate Wafers

Method

  • 1)

Wash the strawberries very well, drain & dry each strawberry thoroughly with paper towels (damp strawberries can cause the chocolate to seize and become lumpy). Lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • 2)

Pour 2 Cups of Water into the Instant Pot and select the Keep Warm option. Place a large heat safe bowl that can sit on top of the Instant Pot liner. Pour 10oz of melting chocolate into the bowl. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then stir and let it sit for another 5 minutes. Stir until the chocolate wafers are all melted.

  • 3)

Hold the strawberries by the green leaves and dip into the chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off and place back onto the parchment paper to set.

  • 4)

After the chocolate has set, the strawberries can be served immediately. You can also drizzle on more chocolate using a spoon or a squeeze bottle for more control – add sprinkles for a touch of flair. Enjoy!

***If you have left over chocolate, pour it onto parchment paper. Once it has set, break it into small pieces, seal and store in a cool dry place to reuse later.
