These popsicles are inspired by the delicious Mexican drinks Mangonadas – which are made of mangos, lime juice, Chamoy and Tajin. I used to love Vero Mango Chili Lollipops as a kid and these popsicle are very reminiscence of those in flavor – you get the delicious sweet flavor from the mangos and it’s balanced out by Chamoy which is sweet & sour and lastly you get a salty, slightly spicy kick from Tajin.  You can find these ingredients at any Mexican market or check out the Mexican Food section at your local grocery store.

Ingredients

  • 1)

    Add the Mango, 1½ Cups Mango Néctar, 2 Tablespoons Sugar, Juice from 1 Lime into a blender and blend on high until it’s very smooth.  You’ll end up with about 4 Cups.

  • 2)

    Add 1½ Teaspoons of Chamoy into each popsicle mold, drizzle the Chamoy along the edges so it drips down to bottom & sprinkle a little Tajin. Fill the molds about half way with the mango mixture, then drizzle another 1 Teaspoon of Chamoy & sprinkle more Tajin. Fill the molds to the top, sprinkle Tajin on top. Freeze for 5-6 Hours. Enjoy!
