Typically the only time you’ll see Crispy Salmon Skin on a menu is at a sushi restaurant as temaki hand rolls, it may sound weird to some people, but it’s super delicious. Crispy Salmon Skin is the tastier & healthier version of pork rinds – they are no-carb, extra crunchy, and packed with Omega-3 fatty acids. If you live by H-Mart, check their seafood section, sometimes they have packages of salmon skin for a few dollars. So don’t throw out your salmon skin the next time you cook a fillet (watch a video on how to remove the salmon skin from a fillet here), make these and have them on their own as a snack or enjoy it with rice and a drizzle of Trader Joe’s Soyaki/Teriyaki Sauce.
I use an Instant Omni Plus Oven (check current price here), but this recipe should work well in any Air Fryer Oven.
I drizzle a little bit Trader Joe’s Soyaki over the crispy salmon skin and enjoy it with rice.
