Churros, the Spanish deep fried treat that’s popular worldwide. The best ones are always from vendors who make them fresh & deep fried to order, if the only churros you’ve had are the ones from the stands where they just reheat frozen ones, you’re missing out! Fresh churros are very quick and easy to make and you probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry. *Watch my 30-second Instagram recipe video here
Use a large open star tip with a reusable pastry bag. You could try using disposable pastry bags if they are very thick, but there’s a chance the bag will rip since the batter is very thick. A deep fry thermometer is also a must, if the oil isn’t reaching the proper temp, you’ll end up with soggy, oily churros
Churros should be very crispy, slightly chewy and the center will still be very soft, almost gooey
