Copycat Chick-fil-A Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce Recipe

This is a copycat of my favorite sauce from Chick-fil-A: Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce – this version is actually even more delicious homemade. I use it as a dipping sauce for my homemade Chick-fil-A Nuggets (recipe here). Use a standard BBQ sauce like Sweet Baby Ray’s for the most similar flavor to Chick-fil-A’s, but you can also use different BBQ sauces to change it up, Trader Joe’s Sriracha Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce is excellent in this sauce.

    2 Tbsps. BBQ sauce.

    Well that narrows it down.

What kind of BBQ sauce? LOL

Hi Mike, just your basic standard BBQ sauce like Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce

Double the BBQ amount for a closer taste. This recipe, the mayonnaise comes thru too much.

Thank you for the recipe. I agree with adding more barbecue sauce to taste. I also will ad just a Tbs of honey next time, just to take the sweetness down a bit. This made my homemade grilled chicken club sandwich a great copycat.
