Matcha Reindeer Snack is basically fancy Chex mix, it’s a fun & easy snack to make around the holidays since it’s awesome for gift giving. If you’re been following my blog or Instagram, you’ll know that I love matcha, so for this mix I made matcha chocolate coated Chex, then mix in honey roasted nuts and dried cranberries. Matcha Reindeer Snack Recipe (Fancy Chex Mix)

Ingredients
- 6 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
- 1½ Cups White Chocolate Chips
- 1 Tablespoon Matcha Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Salted Butter
- 2 Cups Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts
- 1½ Cups Dried Cranberries
Method

Add 1 Tablespoon Salted Butter to a sauce pan, melt the butter on low heat, once it’s melted turn off the heat and add 1½ Cups White Chocolate Chips, stir with a spatula until all the chips are melted, if the residual heat doesn’t melt all the chips, turn the heat to the lowest setting and continue to stir. Pour melted chocolate into a large bowl. Sift 1 Tablespoon Matcha Powder into the melted chocolate and stir to combine.

Add 6 Cups Rice Chex Cereal and stir to coat all the pieces in chocolate. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and pour the mixture onto both sheets, spread the chex so it’s on a single layer. Use chopsticks or spoons to help separate any pieces that are stuck together.

Place the baking sheets into the fridge for 15 minutes. Take them out, place into a large bowl, add 2 Cups Mixed Nuts, 1½ Cups Dried Cranberries and toss to combine. Store in sealed container or package them up for gift giving. Enjoy!
