This is my version of the viral canned Cinnamon Roll Hack where you add heavy cream and butter to the rolls before baking to make them extra soft and fluffy. I also make a quick cream cheese frosting so these end up tasting like Cinnabon! I’ve been using heavy cream in my homemade cinnamon rolls for the last decade, but I’ve never tried it with the canned version and it makes such huge difference! *Watch my viral Instagram recipe video here
I used Trader Joe’s Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls, but Annie’s Organic Cinnamon Rolls would work well too
You can use heavy cream or heavy whipping cream
I combine the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls with butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar to make a cream cheese frosting
Look at how big and fluffy they are after baking!

I baked this and the liquid on the bottom didn’t cook away. Rolls are very soggy. I cooked additional minutes but they liquid still did not absorb into the rolls. What did I do wrong?

You needed to bake it longer with the foil off. Did you use heavy cream?
