Nutella Icebox Cake Recipe (No Bake 3-Ingredient Cake)

This is the EASIEST cake recipe you will ever make.  Three ingredients & about 15 minutes of prep time will give you this scrumptious  and visually stunning dessert that will impress the heck out of your guests.  The frosting is like Nutella chocolate mousse, the biscuits absorb the cream and become soft like cake – it’s so simple, but so delicious!

Nutella Icebox Cake Recipe (No Bake 3-Ingredient Cake)

  • Prep time: 10 hours 15 minutes
  • Serves: 6-8


  • 3 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Cup Nutella Hazelnut Spread
  • 7 oz Package of rectangular Biscuit Cookies

    Make sure the heavy whipping cream is very cold. Pour 3 Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream into a mixing bowl. Using the whisk attachment, whisk on high until it looks slightly thickened. Turn the speed down to medium and start adding 1 Cup of Nutella 2 Tablespoons at a time. Continue to whisk until it becomes a thick, spreadable consistency.

    You can make 1 long cake or 2 smaller ones. Spread about 1½ Tablespoons of the Nutella frosting onto a biscuit and sandwhich with another biscuit and place them upright on the serving platter – there should be about ⅓ inch of frosting in between each biscuit, continue with the rest of the biscuits.

    Using an offset spatula or knife, spread on the rest of the frosting to completely cover the biscuits. You can also using a piping tip to decorate the top. Refrigerate the cake for at least 10 hours. You can dust with a little cocoa powder before serving if you prefer. Slice it at an angle so the slices shows the layers. Wipe down your knife before each slice. Enjoy!
