Cream Cheese Whipped Cream Recipe

Serves: 2 Cups Whipped Cream

Cream Cheese Whipped Cream is a thicker and creamier version of regular whipped cream.  The cream cheese also acts as a stabilizer, so the whipped cream holds it’s shape much better.  I used it to top pumpkin waffles for breakfast this morning, but you could use as frosting  for cupcakes or a cake if you prefer light and not-too-sweet frosting. This whipped cream needs to stay refrigerated, if you’re using it for cupcakes, frost the cupcakes before serving, do not leave out at room temp for too long. Cream Cheese Whipped Cream Recipe

  • Prep time: 5 minutes
  • Serves: 2 Cups Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (½ a brick), cold from the fridge
  • 1 Cup Heaving Whipping Cream, very cold
  • ⅓ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method

  • 1)

    Add 4oz of Cream Cheese and ⅓ Cup Granulated Sugar to a stand mixer, mix on med-high speed for about 3 minutes, it should look smooth. Scrape the bowl as needed.

  • 2)

    With the mixer on med-high speed, slowly pour in 1 Cup Heaving Whipping Cream down the side of the bowl. Add ½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract, turn to high speed and continue to mix until thick and creamy. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Enjoy!
