Trader Joe’s Mocha Dalgona Coffee Recipe

My version of the coffee drink that went viral on TikTok & Instagram, Mocha Dalgona Coffee. The coffee fluff is made by whisking instant coffee, sugar and water together until it looks like marshmallow fluff, then you add it to your choice of milk. It’s also delicious as a topping for vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

Trader Joe’s Mocha Dalgona Coffee Recipe

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon Trader Joe’s Instant Coffee
Trader Joe’s Midnight Moo Chocolate Syrup
2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons Hot Water
1 Cup Milk or Non-Dairy Milk

Method

1)
In a mixing bowl, add 2 Tablespoons of very Hot Water and 1 Tablespoon of Instant Coffee, give it a quick stir then add 2 Tablespoons of Granulated Sugar. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer and mix on high until it becomes light and fluffy (like marshmallow fluff), this usually takes about 3 Minutes.

*You can multiply this recipe to make extra Dalgona Coffee fluff and store it in a covered container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Drizzle Midnight Moo Chocolate Syrup around the inner rim of the glass. Add ice and top with the Dalgona Coffee fluff. You can also warm up the milk to have a hot dalgona coffee instead. Give it a stir before Enjoying!
