UBE Edition of the viral canned Cinnamon Roll Hack. Ube is a purple yam that’s a popular ingredient for sweets and desserts in Asia and Hawaii, it has a lovely nutty flavor, almost like a cross between vanilla & pistachio. In this recipe, you’ll add coconut cream or heavy cream to the canned cinnamon rolls before baking and it makes them softer and fluffier. I also show you how to use the icing that comes in the can to make ube frosting for the topping.
You can find Ube Jam and Ube Flavoring at your local Filipino or Vietnamese markets (you can also use the links to order them)
You can use Heavy Cream or Coconut Cream, I did notice that rolls made with heavy cream turned out softer
The ube frosting is made with the icing packet that come in the can mixed with Ube Jam and Ube Flavoring
